Denim Days

Dungaree Dress- Primark // Top- Zara // Beanie- Topshop // Socks- Topshop// Brogues- Aldo //

Today I decided to wear my dungaree dress with my neon green beanie and mint green ankle socks ( as you've probably guessed I like green a lot) to brighten up my outfit. I also love walking around London when I take these photos for my blog- there's so many great locations for photos. I'm looking forward to getting up to Durham for university and seeing what great locations they have (they filmed some of the Harry Potter films there!)

It's Getting Colder

Beanie-Topshop // Duffle Coat- Primark // Boots- Topshop

For the first time in weeks I'm wearing a coat and I bought this one in Primark for only £28. I used to have to wear one at my primary school and it's the first time I've bought one since but I love it! I also decided to add this neon beanie to my outfit- a perfect way to brighten up autumn outfits :)

I'm back! I've had a really busy month including my exam results- I will be heading off for my first year at Durham uni in late September! I thought I'd write this post to show one of my takes on one of the trends this autumn, punk, so I decided to wear my tartan skirt and leather jacket! I'm also thrilled that I am now a Fashion Click Blogger for Teen Vogue and this is my first post for that.

Oh my! So many eyes!

I never expected eyes to be a big trend this season, but they've been featured in many collections for autumn winter this year including one of my favourite brands Kenzo. How cool is that red Kenzo dress in my Polvore set below? I wish I could buy it, but if you're a student like me you can also find this eye trend in stores like Urban Outfitters and Topshop. I can't wait to find some eye accessories soon. SO what does everyone think of this eye trend? Has anyone bought anything yet?

Lace and Flowers

Today I had fun trying out my new camera so I thought I'd share some of my photos of my outfit on my blog today (I apologise for the very messy bed- I'm not very tidy!). These white lace shorts are from Urban Outfitters (bought in the sale- what a bargain for £20) and this long sleeved crop top is from H&M (bought recently so they will still have this in store).

Got My Retrousse Tee On

Today I thought I would feature Retrousse t-shirts on my blog- one of my favourite t-shirt brands at the moment! Not only are they incredibly comfortable and soft, but they have some awesome designs. Below I'm wearing my Camden tee, but there are four other designs. The 'Butterfly' t-shirt aims to promote awareness of eating disorders- very vital in the world today! You can find a link to the Retrousse website below x

Denim Dungaree Dress- A Wardrobe Essential

I don't think we've had such a good summer in London for years- I honestly haven't worn trousers for about a month as it's been weather fit for bare legs! Today I wore this denim dungaree dress and 'Nerd' t-shirt which are both from Primark for £12 and £4 respectively. Although sometimes I'm wary of Primark these items prove you can get some brill bargains as they are both comfortable and fit well. So I would definitely recommend a trip to Primark! My beanie is from Urban Outfitters!

I also was lucky enough to today to purchase one of the long awaited Baby Lips from 'across the pond' in 'Pink Punch'. I love it and for only £2.99 they're also a great bargain!

Girly Summer Dress

Today I wore this floral dress from Topshop (here)- perfect for one of the hottest days of the year! I would definitely recommend this dress as its made from a comfy material, the pattern is pretty and a good length to tan your legs like I did today when I went for a walk in the park. I'm also wearing neon yellow socks which I got in a pack of 3 from Primark for only £2 and my Nike trainers.

A Rainy Summer's Day

I was so excited today when this skirt from ASOS arrived (the one featured in an earlier post which was worn by one of the Haim girls in their ASOS shoot. From the pictures below you can see also wore a neon beanie, denim jacket, crop top and trainers. I love neon at the moment particularly as I still have a tan from my recent holiday, so I love to put neon touches in my outfit to complete the look!

Haim- Style Steal #1

For the past few months I have been obsessed with the band Haim, not surprisingly as they were selected as the BBC Sound of 2013. They're 3 sisters from California: Este, Danielle and Alana and I love their music and style. A few weeks ago I was browsing ASOS (as you do) and they have a FREE app- 'ASOS Fashion Up'. Available on this app are fortnightly magazine which feature their clothes currently online. On the 6th of May Haim were featured on the cover and I loved the clothes they were wearing and I bought a few items online (this app is dangerous on this front- so tempting to buy the clothes) . My favourites were this top and this skirt. I recommend this app as its easy to use and keep up with trends etc and listen to Haim in particular the songs 'Falling' and 'Forever'. I cant wait for their album which will be availble in September!

Fuerteventura 2013- My Holiday Style

A few days ago I got back from a 2 week holiday in Fuerteventura (a place where I have been going pretty much every year since the age of 2 as my family love it so much). I thought I would share with you some of the clothes I wore during this holiday.

Nylon Tricot Figure Skater Dress in Charcoal- American Apparel (here)

Finlay And Co Sunglasses (here)
I love these sunglasses- they're unique as the frames are made from wood.

Urban Outfitters Shorts and Top (bought in the sale- they always have a fabulous sale at Christmas and during summer with most items being reduced by 50%) Sadly these items are no longer available!
